  • Triangle is run by our senior playworker Jon, who has over 20 years experience working with young people.

  • Helping Jon deliver each session are 4 trained and DBS checked playworkers.

  • At all times on site there is a trained first aider amongst the staff.

  • Snacks including fruit and biscuits are provided each session during term time.

  • A free lunch meal is cooked by staff and young people each day of the holidays.

triangle rules for young people

The young people and play workers worked together to create a set of rules that all must follow.

  • Respect all other users

  • Respect and look after the Triangle equipment

  • No fighting, bullying or swearing

  • No spitting or throwing litter

Breaking the rules will lead to a time out for the young person. We believe in helping our young people learn from mistakes and always aim to solve arguments with an apology. Instances of serious misbehaviour such as theft will lead to a ban from site for a specified amount of time decided by our play worker team. Parents and carers will be contacted accordingly.

Equal Opportunities Statement

Triangle Adventure Playground Association is committed to equality of opportunity and is opposed to direct or indirect discrimination. We will work to provide our services, employ staff, welcome members and recruit trustees, regardless of their sex, age, race, colour, being disabled or non-disabled, their health status including mental health, ethnic or national origin, marital status, sexual orientation and regardless of their religious, cultural and political beliefs or practises which are consistent with this statement.

SAFEGUARDING AND POLICIES

Safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk means protecting them from abuse or neglect, getting the right support in place as early as possible and creating an environment in which they feel safe and healthy. Each local authority has a duty to do so and Lambeth Council is committed to working with the residents and all organisations in the borough, such as the NHS, family doctors, police, education, the Ambulance service, as well as all care providers and voluntary and community sector organisations and faith groups to achieve this. The Lambeth Safeguarding website provides information and support for professionals, children and adults.

A fantastic space in an area that lacks play spaces for children and a huge asset to the community.
