sound art - gasworks gallery workshop

The Triangle is calling all sound artists

The Triangle is going to Gasworks Gallery - 155 Vauxhall St, London SE11 5RH on Thursday 27th March for a sound art workshop.

“The workshop is part of the public programme of the current exhibition by the artist Tanat Teeradakorn: National Opera Complex. In this workshop, the plan is to experiment with sound and sampling to re-score the film included in the exhibition. By doing this we hope to explore how sound can transform narrative perspectives and engage with the exhibition’s central themes: systems of control, agency, protest, and subversive storytelling. By using sound as a creative tool, we hope to spark dialogue and inspire participants to question and reshape the artist work.”

We will meet at the Triangle for 4.15pm on Thursday 27th March so that the group can leave promptly to walk to Gasworks gallery. We will return to the playground around 6.30pm.

They will need to bring with them:

1. Any medication e.g asthma inhaler

2. Rainproof jacket

Snacks will be provided at the gallery.

If your young person is available on the day and would like to go on the trip please fill out the form below.
